Day 1-2 task:
Research your animals habitat (look in science journal to remember what make a habitat!). Also look up the climate where your animal lives.
After writing, draw and detailed picture of your animals habitat....
Day 3-5 task:
Your job is to find information about...
After writing, draw your producers, consumers, and decomposers with detail and label them with their names.
Day 6-7
Your task to to create two types of food chains and sketch them in great detail...
Day 8-10
Your task is to write a rough draft (at least 1 page). It must include the following information in well organized paragraphs...
Day 11- 12 (Final Copy)
Day 13 - 16
Create a power point presentation using information from your booklet. Your presentation should include the following slides (and graphics)
5- 7 slides with graphics (pictures) that help to enhance tour information.

Day 1-2 task:

- Write about the habitat and climate for your animal in at least 8 descriptive and well constructed sentences.
- RECORD ALL YOUR SOURCES OF THE BACK OF YOUR WRITING.
- If you use direct quotes, make sure to add " " marks and give credit

Day 3-5 task:
Your job is to find information about...
- 2 producers
- 2 consumers (herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore)
- 2 decomposers
After writing, draw your producers, consumers, and decomposers with detail and label them with their names.
Day 6-7
Your task to to create two types of food chains and sketch them in great detail...
- Simple Food Chain : At least 4 organisms connected with correct flow of energy (arrows)
- Complex food web: At least 2 sets of food chains that over lap connected with the correct flow of energy.
Day 8-10
Your task is to write a rough draft (at least 1 page). It must include the following information in well organized paragraphs...
- CAUSE (why) your animal is endangered...there may be more than one contributing factor (reason)
- HOW people can help to CONSERVE (save) your animal. You must think of a reasonable plan that people could complete.
Day 11- 12 (Final Copy)
- Have a peer edit your paper (Must be submitted with your paper)
- Write a neat copy, free of spelling errors, that is in paragraph format with 5th grade sentences and grammar.
Day 13 - 16
Create a power point presentation using information from your booklet. Your presentation should include the following slides (and graphics)
- 1 slide about habitat
- 1 slide about producers, consumers, and decomposers in habitat
- 1 slide about your animal's food chain
- 1 slide about three interesting facts about animal
- 1 -2 slides about how to conserve your animal
